‘Just Kitten Around’ Comedy Night to Benefit the Animal Shelter Society
ZANESVILLE, OH – Mark your calendars for a night of laughter and goodwill at Bryan’s Place in Zanesville.
The Animal Shelter Society will be hosting their “Just Kitten Around” comedy show on February 2nd from 6pm to 10pm at Bryan’s Place. The show beings at 8 o’clock, with tickets priced at $20. The proceeds from the event are dedicated to supporting the Animal Shelter.
“We’re 100% nonprofit. There’s no county or state entities paying for our payroll and that’s one of our biggest ones. We employee 16 staff here, that all come in at $10.10 an hour, minimum wage. That’s what helps us pay for that. We really appreciate the community support,” Animal Shelter Society Executive Director April Gibson said.
As the holidays approach, the Animal Shelter wants to urge pet owners to ensure safety and comfort for their pets. Providing them with a quiet room away from the happy chaos at holiday parties is a thoughtful gesture for your furry friend.
“Make sure your pet does have a safe space. Make sure they have a room, maybe a spare bedroom, so they can go into or a basement to get away from all the folks. It can be really hectic. Be cautious of what you feed them from off the table,” Gibson said.
