Keyes named to All-OAC Tournament team

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – Muskingum senior Joshua Keyes has been honored by the Ohio Athletic Conference for his play in the OAC tournament.

The 6’7” forward from East Cleveland averaged a double-double in the Muskies’ two games in the OAC tourney. In the opening game at John Carroll, he scored 13 points and grabbed 14 boards. In Muskingum’s loss at Marietta he had 20 points and 11 rebounds. Overall he was 50% from the floor in both games.

The Muskies entered the post season as the seventh seed and upset JCU, the two seed, 69-68. Marcus Dempsey hit a three in the closing second to win the game. In the OAC final four, they fell to Marietta 95-78. That loss ended the Muskies’ season with a record of 14-13.

Marietta went on the win the OAC title defeated Baldwin Wallace at home 83-74.
