Kimberly Phillips

Kimberly S. Phillips, 69 of Zanesville, died 12:54 AM, Friday, January 5, 2024, at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born Sunday, October 3, 1954, in Zanesville, the daughter of Eugene “Whitey Phillips and Norma Faye Phillips.

Kimberly worked in healthcare for many years as a nurse’s aide. She loved to fish and take long car rides in the country. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who greatly enjoyed the time she spent with her family.

Kimberly is survived by her longtime companion, Rick Morrison; three children, Kimberly (Matthew) Loeffler, Richard Thomsen, Jr. and Oscar Thomsen; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren with one on the way; two brothers, Gene Phillips and Chris (Deb) Phillips and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kimberly was preceded in death by one sister, Sandy Phillips-Stewart; one brother, Rex Phillips, and one sister-in-law, Gayle Phillips.
