Labor Day Car Show

FRAZEYSBURG, OH – Each Labor Day the Frazeysburg Lions Club holds a car show at the Township Hall.

Frazeysburg Lions Club President Kathy Moran talked about how the car show and the service organization serves the community.

“We help people with eyeglasses,” Moran said. “We do a lot of service work in the community. We donated money this year to the Frazeysburg Pool. We also got a grant through the state Lions Club and they gave us Wal-Mart gift cards to give out to the tornado victims, since we had the tornado this year.”

This year marks the 30th car show held by the Frazeysburg Lions Club, which uses the proceeds to fund their Tri-Valley High School Scholarship program. The car show is one of several fundraisers the club holds throughout the year to support the community.

“We do other service projects,” Moran said. “We also have a raffle, where it’s a 26-week raffle for a $10 dollar ticket. And you’re… If your ticket is drawn out, you win a hundred dollars. And if you win, your name goes back in the drawing again.”

The next fundraising event that will be held is the Lions Club Bazaar. It will be held the first Saturday in December at the Frazeysburg Elementary Gym. For more information about the Frazeysburg Lions Club and their various service projects, you can visit their Facebook page.
