Lady Dawgs shut down John Glenn 54-27

NEW CONCORD, Ohio — The Lady Scotties jumped out to a 17-0 lead after the first quarter and never looked back in Tri-Valley’s 54-27 over John Glenn on Monday night.
The Lady Little Muskies failed to score a single point in the first eight minutes of the game thanks to a smothering Tri-Valley defense, while the Dawgs used a balance scoring attack to set the first-half tone.
Lauren King lead the Scotties with 6 first-half points. Kyndal Howe, Alivia Bash, and Alysa Edwards-Frick each added 5 points in the first 16 minutes.
Tri-Valley lead 32-7 at the break and did not let up in the second half, rolling to the 27-point victory. The Lady Scotties improved to 13-2 on the season and 9-2 in league play. They remain just one-game behind Maysville for first place in the MVL.
Tri-Valley travels to West Muskingum on Wednesday night, while John Glenn hosts Maysville.
