Lady Panthers win opening tourney game; New Lex’s season comes to an end
ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Maysville Lady Panthers had no problem with their opening tournament opponent, taking down East Liverpool 78-14.
The win advances the fourth seeded Lady Panthers to a game Saturday with Meadowbrook, who is the 21st seed. Macie Jarrett paced the team with 18 points.
Meanwhile at Logan High School, the New Lexington Panther boys season ended with a 62-50 loss to Marietta 62-50. They finish the season with a record of 10-13.
