Large Fight Under Investigation

A large fight in Licking County that also involved a car crash is under investigation.

As of Monday morning no arrests had been made in the incident that took place Sunday night on Martinsburg Road.

A press release states, the Licking County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a large fight at 7452 Martinsburg Road with callers reporting at least one person was stabbed with a knife and several others were injured.

While responding to the fight deputies noticed a white vehicle heading south on the roadway at a high rate of speed. After passing deputizes the car crashed.

Authorities believe the driver unintentionally lost control. Four individuals in the car required medical attention. One of the four was flown by life-flight to a Columbus Hospital.

A utility pole was also severed during the crash and lines were down across the roadway.

The incident remains under investigation.
