Larry C. Grant, 68, of Enon, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 1, 2021. He was born June 23, 1952, in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Klemm and Irene Penn Grant. Larry was a retired Air Force Veteran, with 28 years of service, 24 of which were with the Ohio Air National Guard, where he received the honor of Senior NCO of the Year for the State of Ohio in 1992. He was also retired from civil service at WPAFB as a Logistics Management Specialist. He had been fully retired since 2013 and enjoyed every minute of it! He was an avid reader and enjoyed playing video games. His greatest love was his family, spending many years coaching his boys in soccer and baseball, and attending games, matches and band performances. He was thrilled to have become a grandpa. He enjoyed travelling the country with his family, especially his wife. Larry also traveled to many foreign lands with the Guard. Some of his favorite deployments were to Honduras, Colombia, Korea, and The Netherlands, along with being stationed in Germany during his time on active duty. He is survived by his wife, Terri Bostick Grant, five sons; Matthew (Lindsey) Grant of Macomb, Michigan, Nathan Grant of Enon, Jacob (Miranda) Grant of Huber Heights, Ethan (Callie) Grant of Riverside, and Jared (Dakota) Grant of Centerville, one grandson, Oliver Grant, one sister, Christine (Dan Allen) Grant of Norwich, father-in-law, Elden Bostick, brothers and sisters in law, Danny (Sue) Bostick, Linda (Jon) Blosser, and Marcia (Joe) Dunn, all of Springfield, and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he is pre-deceased by an infant brother, mother- in-law Carol Bostick, and several aunts and uncles. A private service will be held at a later date in Adkins Funeral Home, Enon. www.adkinsfunerals.com. In honor of Larry’s service and his concern for other veterans, the family requests that donations be made to Operation Second Chance, in lieu of flowers.
