Last Minute Shopping

Christmas is just four days away which means some people are kicking into high gear to get their last minute shopping done.

As the holiday shopping season wraps up people are flocking to Colony Square Mall.

"Uh, it’s pretty crowded, it’s pretty crowded. I worked retail for about ten years, so you’d think i wouldn’t want to be out here, but it brings me back every year," said holiday shopper, Evette Myers.

For some procrastination wasn’t the reason for waiting until the last minute but rather the atmosphere draws them in.

"It’s a mood, it’s a mood," said shopper Mary Thagar. "You got to get into the mood and the spirit of Christmas. The tree’s up you’re going to put the present under the tree, so that’s what we’re going to do."
