Level 3 Snow Emergency Extended

 Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz has extended the Level 3 Snow Emergency until 12 noon on Saturday.  Earlier he wanted it to end at 11 a.m. but he says salt trucks need more time to work on area roads.  There have been a number of accidents in the county including I-70 eastound in Zanesville that involved 6 vehicles.  The highway is now re-opened after the accident    LEVEL 3 MEANS ROADS ARE CLOSED DUE TO THE FREEZING RAIN FROM THIS MORNING.
