Licking County Special Election

The results are in for the special elections in Licking County Tuesday.

The Lakewood Local School District’s 9.9. mill 10-year-emergency levy failed by a close margin of 82 votes. The final vote was 1754 votes against the levy and 1672 votes for the levy.

Also, on the ballot the East Knox Local School District was seeking a 4.97 mill levy for five years for emergency requirements. It failed.  There were 1788 no votes and 379 yes votes.
