Licking Road Accident Sends Four to Hospital

A two vehicle accident sent four people to the hospital Monday night.

It happened just before 6 p.m. in the 2700 block of Licking Road, causing a portion of the road to be closed for nearly an hour.

According to Ohio State Trooper Rich Lanning, a Ford Mustang traveling westbound on Licking Road lost control, crossed left of center and flipped over, striking a ford F-150 pick-up truck traveling eastbound. Lanning said weather and speed seemed to be a factor in the crash. Minor injuries were reported and all victims are expected to be ok.

Falls Township Fire and EMS, a community ambulance, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol all responded to the scene. Lanning said the driver of the Ford Mustang will be cited, and the accident remains under investigation.
