Lillian Georgia Blevins

Lillian Georgia Blevins, 86, of Zanesville, Ohio went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 27, 2016. Georgie was born to Glenn and Edith Tumbleson Worstall on Monday, May 5, 1930 in Duck Run, McDermott, Ohio.
Georgie was happiest while cooking. She was a cook at the West Portsmouth Elementary School as well as several restaurants in Portsmouth. She especially loved cooking for family events.
Georgie taught home Bible study to senior citizens all over southern Ohio and Greenup, Kentucky for years. While a resident at Adams Lane Care Center in Zanesville, she taught a weekly Bible study for 2 years until her failing health kept her from it.
Georgie will be missed by the many family members and friends who loved her deeply.
She is survived by one son Dave (Brenda) Blevins of Clermont, FL ; a daughter Brenda (James) Miller of Zanesville; two special daughters Jo Hornung and Sue Zuefle; one sister Erma King; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Alfred Blevins; two sons, Randy and Frank Blevins; three brothers, Jim, Jack and Kenny Worstall; two sisters, Marion Blevins and Barbara Brown; and one grandson Michael Miller.
Graveside services will be held at 2PM Saturday, October 29, 2016 Sandy Springs Cemetery , near Portsmouth.
