Local Businessman Dies

A well known Zanesville businessman has died. 75-year-old Dan Hennessey passed away Sunday morning surrounded by his family. Hennessey was Chief Executive Officer of Putnam Truckload Direct. He was recognized as a Muskingum County Hometown Hero in 2009, received the Dick Johnson Civic Leadership award and was a member of the Ohio Trucking Association where he served as Chairman from 2002 to 2004. The Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Calling hours are Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Hennessey will be laid to rest Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
