Local Health Department Urges Residents to take Assessment Survey
The Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department urges local residents to take a new survey.
The Muskingum County Community Health Assessment survey is completed once every five years based off of the quality of life in Muskingum County. The survey touches on topics such as education, health, safety and community development. Diana Zaato said by taking the survey it’ll allow them to tackle the community’s biggest priorities over the next 3 years.
“It’s a survey that gives residents the opportunity to inform the decision that the health department make. It does cover a lot of different topics such as healthy spaces in the community to play, parks and play grounds, educational resources, as well as services for the aging,” said Zatto.
Zaato said residents will be able to take the survey until July 1st and the final report will be released in December of 2016.
“The only people to give us a true perspective of what is really an issue is the community. There might be things that we don’t see that they do so we do depend on them to give us their opinions on what they see they’re communities to help us do what we need to do to help them,” said Zatto.
