Local Man Accused of Assaulting Foxfire Teacher

A Zanesville man is arraigned in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Wednesday on an assault charge involving a local teacher.

18-year-old Timothy Rushing appeared before Judge Mark Fleegle where he plead not guilty to the fifth degree felony charge.
 

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Rushing is accused of assaulting Foxfire teacher Patrick Murphy on May 18th of this year.
 

Rushing is being held in the Muskingum County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
