Locals Discuss Golden Globe Awards

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The fun filled, dinner party award show was this evening, the Golden Globes celebrates the achievements in movies and television.

The Golden Globes was organized by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and was hosted by Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh. It is typically the kick off award show building towards the Oscars. We talked to locals about their excitement for the Golden Globes. For Mike and Lucy Thorne, awards shows are something they watch as a family.

“I hope so as a family. We plan to watch it. They’re entertaining. We like to see what’s going on,” said Mike Thorne.

And for others, the Golden Globes was not a show of interest.

“I’ve never heard of them, and I’m very picky on what I watch,” said Pamela Farrell.
