Love Blooms at Imlay Florists

ZANESVILLE, OH – Roses are red, Violets are blue, and Wednesday at Imlay Florists, love was in bloom!

Valentine’s Day brought a whirlwind of activity to Imlay as the dedicated team worked tirelessly to fulfill over 600 flower orders. Beginning at 4:30 AM, petals were flying, and bouquets were arranged as the shop strived to ensure that every single gesture of affection was delivered with care.

“The biggest thing on Valentine’s Day is getting the deliveries out. A lot of people love the element of surprise that they send people flowers to their job which has limited hours. So, we get them out. We get a lot of walk ins too. We do have a lot of people that come in and we hope to be able to serve them,” Owner of Imlay Florists, Katie Imlay said.

On Valentine’s Day, customers not only arrived with orders, but with unique love stories of their own.

“What is our favorite thing? I think just being in and visiting with people. Seeing them come in, and everybody has a love story. We love to hear the love stories,” Imlay said.
