Making It In America
Jobs are continuing to be affected by the economy.
18th District Congressman Zack Space, recently supported a series of bills that will encourage manufacturing jobs to return back to the U.S. Overall, local residents seem to agree with it.
"I think they really should because how do they expect us people to make it, I know I lost my job in 2006, it got sent to mexico," said Supporter, Fern Reed.
Space says after the passage of NAFTA, tens of thousands of jobs in Ohio were outsourced to other countries. He believes Ohians are hard workers and deserve these jobs.
"I think that’s great, I think anything we can do to increase our economic base is necessary," said Supporter, Garry Ambiad.
The congressman is also working on the second phase of his campaign, "Fighting to Renew Ohio", which focuses on economic growth within the state.
