Man Admits to Drug Charges

In Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Monfay a 30-year-old Zanesville man pled guilty to drug charges.

Fabian Witherspoon admitted to two felony charges of trafficking in crack cocaine with school specifications and one charge of possession of crack cocaine.

Witherspoon was arrested in February after a drug bust at a home on Woodlawn Avenue. Last week a co-defendant in the case, 34-year-old Zaire Clark, was sentenced to seven months in prison.

Judge Fleegle continued Witherspoon’s bond at $100,000 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation in the case. Witherspoon remains in the Muskingum County Jail.
