Man Arraigned on Drug Charge

A man arrested following a drug bust was arraigned in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court  Wednesday.

21-year-old Marcus Moore of Zanesville pled not-guilty to a second-degree-felony charge of trafficking in cocaine. Moore was arrested in March when the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a vehicle in the parking lot of Zane State College and found more than 360 grams of cocaine, valued at $73,000. Three other people in the vehicle were questioned and released.

Judge Kelly Cottrill continued Moore’s bond at $100,000.
