Man Dies After Falling From Oil Rig in Coshocton County

Authorities say a man has died after falling from an oil rig in Coshocton County.
 

It happened just after midnight Thursday  on County Road 5.
 

Sheriff Tim Rogers says 27-year-old John Roberts of Caldwell was on a 50 foot high platform when he slipped and fell.
 

Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene by Coshocton County Coroner Dr. Robert Gwinn.
 

The Coshocton County EMS and West Lafayette Fire Department assisted on the scene.
 

The accident remains under investigation.
