Man Pleads Guilty in Step-Sister Shooting
A Zanesville man pleads guilty in connection with shooting his step-sister in the head.
44-year-old David Gibbs appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Monday and pled guilty to felonious assault. In return a charge of attempted murder will be dropped at sentencing.
On April 27th, Gibbs shot his step-sister Tonya McDonald in the head at a home at 3900 Hemmers Lane in Wayne Township.
Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation in the case.
