Man Pleads Guilty to Growing Pot

A man arrested after authorities found marijuana plants growing in his yard pled guilty Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

45-year-old Andrew Mohler Jr. pled guilty to one-felony-count of cultivation of marijuana and one-misdemeanor-count of possession of drug paraphernalia in front of Judge Mark Fleegle.

The charges stem from August 3, 2009 when officers confiscated plants growing in Mohler’s yard on Schwallie Avenue in Zanesville.

A pre-sentence investigation has been ordered in the case.
