Man Sentenced for Escape

Morgan County Prosecutor Mark Howdyshell says an escaped Morgan County Jail inmate was sentence in Morgan County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.

19-year-old Christopher Lee Clark was sentenced to 11 months in jail for his October 2009 escape. Authorities say Clark escaped from the jail October 15, 2009 when his cell door malfunctioned and he ran out a side door.

He was originally jailed on a theft charge. In addition to his sentence for the escape Howdyshell says he has to pay a $1000 fine.
