Man Sentenced for Selling Drugs

A 23-year-old Zanesville man will spend a year in prison for selling drugs.

Mason Somers received the sentence Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court from Judge Mark Fleegle. Somers had pled guilty to two-felony-counts of trafficking in marijuana, plus three-felony-counts of possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine and possession of mushrooms.

Somers was arrested on December 3, 2009 after the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug bust at 458 Luck Avenue.
