Shooting on Baker Street is under investigation

ZANESVILLE, Ohio - A shooting on Baker St. in Zanesville last night, is now under investigation.

Zanesville Police Chief, Kenneth Miller, said Tyler Dickinson, of Zanesville, was shot in the arm and torso walking down the street.

A person then stopped and took Dickinson to Genesis Hospital. Officers were immediately dispatched to the hospital.

“Basically his story was, he was walking down Baker St., and he didn’t see or hear anything, but felt a pain and noticed he had been shot through his arm and torso,” said Miller.

Dickinson has not been able to give any information about a possible suspect. He is in stable condition, and expected to be okay.
