Manson’s Grandson Speaks to Youth
Hundreds gathered to hear the grandson of convicted killer Charles Manson speak in Duncan Falls Sunday.
Mixed Martial Arts fighter and motivational speaker Jason Freeman spoke at the Cornerstone Full Gospel Church in Salt Creek Dr.
Youth Pastor Jamie Harrop hoped the evening of fellowship will help guide teenagers to make a good life decisions, despite their past.
"No matter what your past is, no matter what you’ve gone through," said Harrop, "There is a new way, there’s a new level that you can get to, there’s a new place that God has for you; letting your past go, and starting a new future, starting over and that’s exactly what he has done."
Freeman talked about his new book, "Knocking Out the Devil," which chronicles his struggles though childhood.
"I pretty much fought myself for years, until I came to make the right choices," said Freeman. "You know I have a family, and I have a great wife and kids, and I made that choice to give my selfishness up and give it to God and start over."
