Maple Avenue Gyro Restaurant Robbed

Zanesville Police are investigating a robbery Tuesday evening.  Detective Sergeant Harry Taylor says at 7 p.m. that Gyros and Kabobs restaurant at 1835 Maple Avenue was robbed.  Detective Taylor says a tall, thin white male entered the business and demanded money from a store employee.  No weapon was shown.  The suspect then fled on foot.  He was last seen wearing a grey hooded windbreaker, dark jeans with a tie dyed bandanna around his face.  Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Zanesville Police.
