Marian Lea Oder, 71, of Newark, passed away September 25, 2011 at Licking Memorial Hospice in Newark.

Marian was born June 30, 1940 in Bellaire, OH the daughter of the late Earl Williams and Doris (Farmer) Ansart. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

Marian is survived by her three sons Darren Oder of Nawark, OH, Duane (Jeri) Oder of Somerset and Donald Oder Jr. of White Hall; her daughters Darla (Dennis) Avery of Newark and Tanya Shell of Mt. Perry; one brother John (Nancy) Williams of Bethesda, OH; her sister Earla Belon of Follansbee, WV; 20 grandchildren including Duane Oder and Tasha Rutter whom she raised, several Great-Grand Children and 1 Great-Great Grandson.

In addition to her parents Marian is preceded in death by her husband Donald Lee Oder who passed away in 2003 and two sisters Sue Nelson and Doris Ann Richie.

Visitations will be 11 to 1 pm Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be 1 pm with officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
