Marrianne Spaulding

Marrianne Spaulding‘s “soul is happy with the Lord”. She left her earthy body, her temporary dwelling place and met her Savior face to face on March 6, 2023. Her battle with Alzheimers was long but her life with Christ is eternal. Praise God, the disease was unable to rob her of her memory and faith in Him. She proclaimed him till the end and sang his praises.
She was born on Thursday, March 15, 1945 in Newark Ohio the daughter of Emil Eugene McCollum and Rosemary Price McCollum.
Marrianne graduated from Newark High School, Newark, Ohio and from the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville, Indiana with a degree in Occupational Therapy. Her hobbies included Quilting, Bingo and visiting Amish Country.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Kent) Shumaker and Kelly (Rich) Packard; a brother, Timothy (Cathejo) McCollum; a sister, Debbie (James) Klipp; Grandsons, Andrew (Caitlan) Shumaker, Cole (Sally) Shumaker, Cody (Gwen) Shumaker, Titus Shumaker, Evan (Gabby) Packard; Great Grandchildren, Blake Shumaker, Liliana Shumaker, Madison Shumaker, Hazel Shumaker, Oliver Shumaker, Benjamin Shumaker, and Adam Shumaker.
In addition to her parents, Marrianne was preceded in death by her husband, James Stuart Spaulding; a brother, Michael Eugene McCollum and a grandson, Derek Matthew Packard.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM with funeral service at 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Meaige officiating. Burial will conclude at 3:00 PM at the Dresden Cemetery, Dresden Ohio.
