Mary L. Ferrell, 67 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at 9:45 AM Thursday, October 07, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Wednesday, February 24, 1943 in Man, WV the daughter of Jess Tate and Geraldine (White) Tate. She married Donald C. Ferrell and was Protestant By Faith. Mary was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to spend time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years; Donald C. Ferrell; one son: Donald Ferrell, Jr. of Zanesville; five daughters: Timmie Tate, Louise (Eddie) Rodriquez, Katherine (Monty) Hale, Teresa Ferrell all of Zanesville and Amanda Oliver of Columbus; 44 grandchildren; over 50 great grandchildren; one sister: Bonnie Miller of Pittsburgh and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by one son: Gerald Ferrell; one daughter: Donna Gillman.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, October 12, 2010 at The Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue where Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday with Pastor Richards officiating.
