Mary Virginia Staker (December 16, 1912 – March 29, 2010)

Mary Virginia Staker , 97 of Zanesville died 8:40 AM Monday, March 29, 2010 at Genesis Extended Care Rehab Center Zanesville following a long illness.

She was born Monday, December 16, 1912 in Loudonville OH the daughter of Milton Luther and Ada Clara(O’Hearn) Fulmer.

Mary was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and retired from Gould National Battery.

She is survived by 3 sons, Gene (Mary Lou) Staker of Zanesville, John Staker of Canal Winchester and Jim (Darla) Staker Sr. of Duncan Falls; six grandchildren, Douglas Staker, Kama Botelho, Kerby Staker, Jim Staker Jr., Trina Dunkle, and Ashlee Schmitz. 11 Great Grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters; a brother Harold Fulmer of Mansfield and a sister Viola Gills of Winter Haven, Florida. Preceded in death in addition to her parents, were her husband Robert F. Staker, a sister Blanche Brubaker Wunderle, three brothers Carl, Harry E. ”Ed” & Dick Fulmer.

Visitation to be held Tuesday March 30th from 2-4 & 6-8 with Christian Vigil to be held 7:45pm at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church 925 East Main Street Zanesville with Fr. Martin Ralko as celebrant. Burial will conclude in the Mt. Olive Cemetery Zanesville.
