Mason Young

Mason Tyler Young, 33, peacefully entered into the joy of eternal life with Jesus on Friday, December 22, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. He was born July 30, 1990, to Shannon L. and Sandra “Sandy” Hedrick Young. Mason was a 2009 graduate of Fairfield Christian Academy.

Mason was a loving, compassionate soul, with a quick wit & quite the way with words. He deeply loved his family & friends and was very close to his pets as well. Mason had a contagious smile that endeared him to many. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, numerous sports, playing cards (especially euchre), photography, and especially playing guitar – and he was quite proficient at anything he set his mind to. Mason was particularly passionate in his love of music.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Brittany (Young) Roseberry & husband Wes Roseberry; their children: Miles, Sloane and Naomi; and Grandmother Cindy Young.

He was preceded in passing by Grandfather Gary Young and Grandparents Donald and Ellen Hedrick.

A memorial service celebrating Mason’s life will be held at Fairfield Christian Church, 1965 North Columbus St., Lancaster, Ohio, on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Visitation begins at 1:30pm to 3:00pm with service immediately following; Pastor Russell Johnson officiating.
