Matson Pleads to Seven Charges

A Zanesville man pled guilty to seven charges Tuesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

30-year-old Timothy Matson was arrested April 20, 2009 after a raid at a house on Luck Avenue.

Tuesday in front of Judge Mark Fleegle he pled guilty felony charges of trafficking in heroin, having a weapon under disability, possession of heroin, possession of Vicodin, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.

In return for the guilty plea three other charges will be dropped.

The prosecution recommended Matson serve three years in prison and forfeit more than 30 items including money, cell phones and firearms.
