Mayle Pleads Guilty In Stabbing

A Zanesville man charged in connection with a stabbing incident appears in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.  The Prosecutor’s Office says 34-year-old Brett Mayle plead guilty to one count of felonious assault in connection to a February stabbing incident at the Disabled American Veterans Center on Moxahala Avenue.   He was originally charged with one count of attempted murder and a second count of felonious assault.  Both charges will be dropped at sentencing. Police say the victim was seriously injured.  Judge Mark Fleegle ordered a pre-sentence investigation in the case.
