Maysville Pike Century National Bank Robbed

The Century National Bank on Maysville Pike was robbed Wednesday afternoon.

Shortly after 2:30 PM, the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office and Zanesville Police Department responded to the branch near Clay Street where a man with a weapon robbed the bank. The person fled the area with an unknown amount of cash. Zanesville’s Detective Sergeant Harry Taylor described the suspect as a five foot seven, dark complected black male in his mid 20’s. Taylor said he has a slender build and tattoos on his neck. Taylor told us the man was wearing a dark shirt, pants, shoes and dark hat with a white emblem on it. He is to be considered dangerous.
