MCLS to Host “Photographer’s Guide to Ohio” Program
ZANESVILLE, OH – The Muskingum County Library System is inviting the community to come on an adventure to see some of Ohio’s scenic wonders.
This Thursday, June 20th, at 5PM, the John McIntire Library will host their program, “Photographer’s Guide to Ohio”, with photographer Ian Adams.
Scott Horst, the Adult Services Librarian, said Adams is an environmental and outdoor photographer who will showcase some of his best work to the community.
“The natural splendor of Ohio is obviously going to be covered, since he is a renowned outdoor photographer and Southeastern Ohio certainly has a lot of those,” Horst said. “I would expect the Hocking Hills, Salt Fork, things like that.”
Horst says that it’s wonderful to have people, like Adams, come into the library and share their experiences and adventures.
“I think that it’s just something that fulfills our mission,” Horst said. “Our mission here at the Library is to connect people to ideas, information, and each other and it fulfills that obligation we have to the community.”
