McMillen Family Says Goodbye

Zanesville said goodbye to a much loved member of the community Monday.

Jim McMillen, longtime owner and founder of McMillen Tire passed away Thursday, his funeral was held Monday at Snouffer Funeral Home. Jim’s son, John "Rocker" McMillen told us what made his dad so special.

"My dad was the coolest guy in Zanesville. He tried to help you or any individual who needed some services done to their vehicle. He was very well liked in this area, whenever you would need a favor, money, friend he’d be there for you," said Rocker.

Mister McMillen was laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery next to his wife Ruth Ann. Rocker wants to thank everyone for their support and help in his dad’s last days.

"It’s just a sad day all around if it wasn’t for my friends and family this will really be a lot tougher, things will get better, they’re in a better place but I think all of Zanesville will miss my father Jim McMillen," said Rocker.

The family would also like to thank Genesis Hospice and Snouffer Funeral Home for their care and services.
