McPeak Sentenced for Sex Crimes

Muskingum Co- A Phoenix, Arizona man will serve prison time for sex crimes involving underage victims.

20-year-old Nathen McPeak appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court, where he was sentenced by Judge Kelly Cottrill to 4-years in prison. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office had argued for McPeak to serve between 8 and 12 years.

McPeak plead guilty in September to two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and tampering with evidence. In a separate indictment he also pleaded guilty to several charges. He’ll also register as a sex offender for 25 years.

The prosecutor’s office said McPeak lived in Zanesville while committing the crimes against underage victims. He moved to Phoenix and was required to return to face charges.
