Meet Milkshake Luke, the pet of the week

Each Friday we stop by the Animal Shelter Society to feature our pet of the week.

This week we met Milkshake Luke.  Milkshake Luke is a 3-month-old domestic short hair that was brought into the shelter as a stray back in July.

Jody Murray, Executive Director at the shelter said that he would be a great addition to any family that’s looking for a kitty companion.

“He’s very friendly, he loves people,” said Murray.  “He’s updated on all of his shots, he’s neutered and he’s been microchipped.”

Milkshake Luke is a special needs cat that has some weakness in his back legs from a lack of muscle development that causes him to be a bit clumsy at times.

“He’s certainly a very playful little guy and we always encourage people to come in and spend a few minutes with him.”

Milkshake Luke is looking for a forever home and is ready for adoption for a price of $70.
