Meet this Week’s Dog of the Week, Rocky!

ZANESVILLE , OH – This week’s dog of the week is full of energy and he’s ready to share it with his new family.

Meet Rocky! He is a 2-year-old terrier mix that’s been at the K-9 Adoption Center since Halloween. Doug McQuaid, a Volunteer at the Adoption Center, shared some of Rocky’s backstory.

“He actually was a dog that was tied to a pole and left abandoned,” McQuaid said. “We found him as a humane case but we are so happy that we did find him.”

Rocky is dog friendly, does well with small children, and loves to go on long walks. He’s also house broken and neutered. McQuaid said this Saturday is the last day the adoption fee will be $50.

“We have a lot of dogs, we’re practically full,” McQuaid said. “We have a lot to choose from. Also remember that we have dogs waiting to be reclaimed that would love to be back with their families for Christmas.”
