Mega May Event at We Lov Pets

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – We Lov Pets is offering a fun filled day full of animals and thanks to their customers.

Saturday, May 25th, We Lov Pets is having their Mega May event with lots of activities. We Lov Pets is showing their appreciation for their customers by offering a free dog wash at the self-serve at U Wash Pets from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. During the entire event, they will be collecting donations for the Animal Shelter Society.

“So basically at the dog wash, if they wanted to donate it’s based off whatever they wanted to give would be fine. So it is free, they can give a donation, and then it will go directly to the animal shelter,” said General Manager of We Lov Pets, Miranda Cartwright.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Fast Lane Car Care and Recovery Nation is hosting a car wash fundraiser for a local woman battling cancer. And if you donate to the car wash, you will receive a coupon to use in the We Lov Pets store. Then 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. is the Animal Shelter Society’s dog adoption event, if you adopt a dog you will receive 10% off any of the supplies you may need for your new pet.

“The animal shelter, we’ve always tried to help them out because they are a non-profit. So anything that we can help them with, we try to support them,” said Cartwright.

“We really appreciate the community coming together like this. And We Lov Pets is a big supporter of us so it’s for a great cause, multiple people are going to win in this so we’re very happy with that,” said Assistant Director of the Animal Shelter Society, Russell Denny.

This is the first year for the free dog wash, and We Lov Pets is anticipating a large turnout.
