Mega Millions Jackpot Now Over $1 Billion

ZANESVILLE, Oh – Friday’s Mega Millions Jackpot of over one billion dollars is the second largest in the jackpot’s history, and residents around the area are taking their chances at winning big!

Motivated by the massive jackpot, people were in and out of Mother Tuckers Friday morning to buy tickets!

For Wendy Pettit and Sunny Quimby, winning the Mega Millions would be life changing, not just for themselves but their families as well!

“I have 5 kids and 12 grandchildren. So they would all not have to worry about anything for the rest of their lives,” Pettit told us.

“I’d help out a lot of people I hope. College kids and my grandkids that are going to college and all that. And my relatives, family, churches, charity,” Quimby said.

Customers like Jacob Wood and Leslie Worden that came in to buy tickets know the odds but are just excited to play and take the chance at over one billion dollars and the possibility of all they could do with the winnings!

“Probably help out everyone I know, my family. Give back to the community, make Zanesville a better place,” Wood said.

“Hoping to get lucky and hit the big one,” Worden excitedly told us.

Drawing for the Mega Millions Jackpot will be broadcast during the 11 PM newscast Friday evening and on the official Mega Millions website below, where winning numbers will also be displayed at the conclusion of the drawing.
