Michael Andrew Wallace (May 7, 1955 – August 15, 2010)

Michael Andrew Wallace, 55 of Zanesville , OH died 12:47 PM Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice Zanesville OH following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born Saturday, May 07, 1955 in Zanesville. Mike was the caretaker of the Roseville Conservation Park for the past five years. He was a chef by trade and a member of the North American Hunting Club and an avid Harley Davidson rider.

He is survived by his mother and step-father Violet Wallace and Howard Hanna of Ft. Mead Fl, two sons Justin (Tammy) Guseman of Akron and Michael Wallace of Zanesville, two daughters Felicia and Amanda Wallace both of Zanesville and Felicia, Amanda and Michaels mother Cindy Wallace of Zanesville, two grandchildren Katlyn Guseman of Akron and Avery Hamilton of Zanesville, four brothers Lewis (Kathryn) Wallace of Bozeman Montanna, Charles (Julie) Wallace of Zanesville, Bryan (Becki) Wallace of Lowell and Paul (Tami) Wallace of Belpre, a sister Tammie Lizon of Coco Beach Fla, numerous Aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends including four special friends Henry Bates, Mike and Michelle Boyce and Phil Bauserman.

Preceded in death by his grandparents Charlie and Asia Wallace, Andrew Dewey and Lillie Cottrell, his father Perley B. Wallace.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Thursday August 19th at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM on Friday August 20, 2010 at Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home 935 Forest Avenue Zanesville OH with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Following the service a Funeral procession to include his friends with motorcycles and a Harley Davidson Motorcycle Hearse will travel to Oak Grove Cemetery in Marietta OH for burial and will conclude with committal prayers and a small service at his gravesite.
