Mid-East Appoints New Superintendent

The Mid-East Career & Technology Centers will soon have a new district superintendent.

The Board of Education has approved Dr. Richard Hall for the position. Dr. Hall currently serves as the superintendent of the East Guernsey Local School District, a position he has held for eight years. Prior to assuming the superintendency, Dr. Hall held positions as principal, teacher, coach and student.

His career has spanned 27 years in the district, nine of which were in the position of Occupational Work Experience (OWE) instructor. He has also served on the Ohio Association for Career and Technical Education (OACTE) Board while working in career tech. Dr. Hall will begin as superintendent at Mid-East on August 1, 2015.
