Mixed-Use Space Closer to Reality in Cambridge

Cambridge,OH- A project is coming to downtown Cambridge designed to foster small business growth and economic developments is one step closer to reality.

4Friends LLC, in collaboration with JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development, the Cambridge-Guernsey County CIC and the City of Cambridge announced an investment of over $1.4m to redevelop the former Sipe Chevrolet Dealership at 1023 Wheeling Avenue in downtown Cambridge.

The building will be used to create a mixed-use marketplace and co-working space. The Midtown Market will feature six to eight food vendors, drinking and collaborative spaces. When complete the project will create 39 new jobs in the community.

The JobsOhio vibrant communities program offers competitive grants for development projects that help transform areas within a distressed community. Eligible projects include mixed-use projects, real estate development projects and operated shared spaces that meet the JobsOhio Project criteria.
