Moped driver rushed to hospital after crash

A man on a moped was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a truck Friday afternoon.

It happened on Maple Avenue, when a truck turning into CAS Tech, struck the moped.

The man on the moped was not wearing a helmet, but police say he does not appear to have life threatening injuries.

The woman driving the truck does not have a drivers license, according to Sergeant Christopher Phipps of the Zanesville Police Department.
