Morgan County Man Pleads Guilty
A 34-year-old Morgan County man is awaiting sentencing in March after pleading guilty to 16 charges.
Lonnie Miller was set to go to trial Tuesday and entered a change of plea to guilty. He faced five counts of theft, four counts of breaking and entering, one count of burglary, three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, and four counts of rape.
Morgan County Prosecutor, Mark Howdyshell, says the maximum sentence for these crimes is about 60 years.
Miller will face sentencing March 17th.
He was initially indicted April of last year.
Howdyshell says the charges stem from parents complaining that Miller gave pornographic material to their kid. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation from there that led to Miller’s arrest.
