Mother Tuckers Dips Below $2 a Gallon

And Christmas came early for those filling up their tanks at our neighborhood Mother Tuckers gas station.

Gas prices have been steadily falling throughout the entire U.S and have finally dipped below the $2 mark at many local locations. Owner of mother tuckers, Jimmy Pitcock, says this is a way to say thank you and Merry Christmas to all of their loyal customers.

"Our price right now is $1.99 and we kinda did it as a good way to thank our community, the gas is a lot cheaper to buy now, but not everyone around town has it at $1.99. So, we’re just, it’s a good way to thank our customers for being so loyal to us and a good way to see everyone a last time before Christmas and to save some money."

And Pitcock says he doesn’t think gas prices will stray too far from the $2 mark anytime in the near future.

"In my opinion, I don’t see the price changing too much to be honest with you. Just the people who I’ve talked to said the price for it’s not moving much, if anything it keeps coming down. So, I don’t know if it’s gonna change much in a good or bad way, but it might go up a couple, maybe a dime or two and then down a dime or two. So, I’d probably say right around $2 for the foreseeable future."

Mother Tuckers would like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and remind drivers to be safe while traveling this holiday season.
